This past fall, we had the pleasure of working with James and Eudorah for their wedding at the UBC Rose Garden and Sage Bistro. This venue is such a beauty and an unexpected surprise. The Rose Garden still blooms in early September and the mountain backdrop is an absolute view and backdrop for photos. Fortunately, the rain started to sprinkle as soon as the ceremony was complete. By the time we were ready to stack the chairs it was pouring!
Sage Bistro is located next to the Rose Garden. From the outside it appears as a dull white building on a university campus but inside, it is a beautiful canvas waiting to be decorated and designed. The couple asked for string lights across the entire floor, a soft drapery backdrop with twinkle lights, and tons of modern yet rustic details throughout the space. The space was transformed into an entirely different room.
Beautiful details were found scattered throughout the space. This wedding is definitely a testament to how beautiful and timeless a nature inspired wedding can be. Photos by Kaoverii Silva.

Leslie was organized, efficient, worked with what we wanted, easy to communicate with, and so lovely to work with. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to plan our wedding! She is super knowledgeable about all of the best deals and vendors in the area and was able to create our dream vision with our budget. She took a lot of things off our plate with handling the vendors and everything on the special day making it stress free. On top of taking on all of these responsibilities, she was always so quick to respond. Leslie is the best and we will miss working with her!
